Demonstration terms for the FROTL MVP. They must be reviewed by a UK solicitor before launch.

Our role

FROTL operates a marketplace where verified UK motorcycle dealers bid to buy motorcycles from private sellers. FROTL is never the buyer, never takes title to a motorcycle and never handles the vehicle purchase price.

Sellers

You confirm that the information you supply is accurate and that you are legally entitled to sell the motorcycle. Offers are made on the basis of your description; a dealer may re-appraise on collection if the bike differs materially from the profile. Do not release the motorcycle until cleared payment has been received.

Dealers

Only dealers verified by FROTL may bid. Bids are binding commitments to buy at that price subject to the motorcycle matching its profile. Winning dealers owe FROTL a marketplace acquisition fee based on the agreed sale price. Accounts with overdue fees may be blocked from bidding.

Auctions

Dealer offers are sealed. Dealers cannot see another dealer's amount, offer count or ranking. A dealer may increase their own offer before the stated close time but cannot lower it. After closing, the highest valid offer is presented to the seller; equal offers are ordered by the earliest effective submission. Nothing is ever accepted on a seller's behalf.
