How FROTL works
Dealers submit sealed offers. After the scheduled close, you choose whether to accept the best one.
Tell us about your bike
Enter your registration and current mileage. We find the bike, you confirm it's yours. No registration on file? Enter the details by hand.

Build your bike profile
A short mobile-friendly condition report covering paperwork, history, how it runs, consumables, damage and modifications — plus photos.
Honest profiles win higher bids.
Dealers offer privately
We schedule your bike into a sealed online auction. Verified UK motorcycle dealers submit private offers without seeing anyone else's amount or rank.

Accept your best offer
When the auction closes, its highest valid sealed offer is presented to you. Accept it or decline it — nothing happens automatically.
Nothing is ever accepted for you.
Get collected and paid
The buying dealer arranges collection with you directly and confirms any collection terms before you accept. Payment comes directly from the dealer. Never release the bike until cleared payment has arrived.

Common questions
- Does FROTL buy my motorbike?
- No. FROTL is a marketplace. The sale and the payment happen directly between you and the dealer. We charge the winning dealer a marketplace acquisition fee.
- What does it cost me?
- Nothing. Sellers pay no fee.
- What about outstanding finance?
- Tell us the finance company and approximate settlement figure. Settlement is arranged directly between you, the dealer and your finance provider.
- What if I receive no offers?
- Sometimes a window closes without a valid offer. You'll be told clearly, there is nothing to pay, and we can schedule a fresh offer window only if you ask us to.
- Do I have to accept the best offer?
- No. You can decline, and nothing is ever accepted on your behalf.
- Could the offer change when the dealer arrives?
- Offers are made on the basis of your description. If the motorcycle differs materially from the profile, a dealer may re-appraise on collection — so describe condition, damage and history honestly.
- Will strangers come to my house?
- No private buyers and no test rides. Only the dealer who buys your bike gets your contact and collection details, and only after you accept their offer.
