Privacy policy

This is a demonstration policy written for the FROTL MVP. It must be reviewed by a UK solicitor before launch.

What we collect

Seller name, email address, mobile number and postcode; motorcycle registration, specification, condition answers and photographs; dealer company details and contact information; and records of bids, offers and collections.

What dealers can see

Before a sale is agreed, dealers see the motorcycle, its condition report and photographs, and an approximate location based on your postcode district. Your name, email address, phone number and exact address are never shown to dealers until you accept the selected offer, and then only to that dealer.

Payments

FROTL does not buy motorcycles and does not process the vehicle purchase price. Payment for the motorcycle is made directly by the dealer to the seller. We charge the winning dealer a marketplace acquisition fee.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact privacy@throttlebid.example once a real support address is configured.
